The volume concludes about 1906, although a reconstructed Fort Walsh is mentioned. These last people included NWMP, ranchers, wolfers, and the treaty makers. The special geography and ecology of the hills is also noted. LEARN more about : choke-cherries, Young Dogs, Pinto Horse Butte and Crow Mary. Five excellent b/w maps start of the work. Cond : Light blue cover with black lettering. The front cover illustration is of a vision quest site as painted by Ivan Eagletail. One lead corner has wear, gift inscription on half-title.
