The red cloth-boards, with black lettering to the front and spine, are lightly rubbed, mainly at the head of the spine and have a small chip and a 3 mm diameter white spot, both on the upper panel. The lightly sunned endpapers have various owner signatures and a stamp front and back.… The binding is tight. The title page has a small patch of foxing but the remaining xv + 198 pp of unillustrated text and chronology are unmarked and undiscoloured.
