Anlass waren der Abriss der Josef-Haubrich-Kunsthalle 2002 und der drohende Abriss des Kölner Opernensembles. Seit 2005 zeichnet die Kampagne mit international bekannten Lauda- toren wie Peter Zumthor, Gottfried Böhm und Bazon Brock Kölner Bauwerke der Nachkriegsmoderne aus, die durch ihre architektonische Qualität und städtebauliche Sensibilität bestechen. Zu der Kampagne erscheint nun die Projektdokumentation mit allen bisherigen Reden und Diskussionsbeiträgen.
