No dust jacket. A romance set in Southern California just after World War I in which the protagonist captures men stealing cattle from Black Rock Ranch. [This is not the Black Rock Ranch of Texas fame.] Clyde W. Hightower is also the author of SHADOWS OF THE VALLEY (1926).
