An interesting volume of a leading mountaineering annual journal, published in Graz, Austria -- and edited by Heinrich Hess. The frontispiece is from a photograph of Langkofel from the Northeast. While these annuals are essential for the serious Alpinist, their range is not exclusively devoted to mountaineering and study of the Alps. There is a a 26-page account of a climbing trip to the Andes, and a major article deals with Mt. Arrara.
