Añadir al carritoFirst edition, number 277 of 400 copies. Beautifully produced volume featuring the work of Texas and later Greenwich Village artist, Don Herron (1941-2012). Herron received degrees from the University of Texas in 1972 and later taught studio classes there before moving to New York in 1978. This book features silkscreen illustrations with descriptive text of the Sarim, the 30 major angel princes of the Christian, Jewish, and Islam religions lead by Jargas (3 Enoch). Interestingly, of the 400 copies printed, OCLC cites 5 as being held by institutions, and the book is seemingly scarce in the trade as well. 8vo, [62]pp. Silkscreen illustrations of angels throughout, and signed by Herron at the colophon. Quarter maroon cloth lettered in gilt, marbled paper boards. Bit of rubbing at corners else near fine.
