Oktav: 24 × 16 cm; pp. [4], 15. Mit 1 doppelseitige Tafel. Gesetzt in der Berthold Alt-Mediaeval. Zustand: Das Papier der Mappe ausgebleicht und an den Rändern gebräunt, die beiden Steckschliessen fehlen leider. Die Mappe im Innern sauber, ohne Verfärbungen. Der Umschlag, die Fadenheftung und der Buchblock in tadellosem Zustand. Notizen: Diese Schrift entstand im Nachgang zu einem Vortrag von Hermann Hülle vor der Gesellschaft Berliner Bibliophilen über die Erfindung des Typendrucks im elften Jahrhundert in China. Hermann Hülle war Direktor der Ostasiatischen Abteilung an der Preussischen Staatsbibliothek.
