Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Good. None. This offering is a set of four publications that COULD be used to help a mother make it through the summer . . . and give her children something to think about in the process. Three are on aspects of nature, the fourth is titled A Mother's Manual for Summer Survival. The manual was written by K…athy Peel & Joy Mahaffey. It's a soft cover magazine-like publication of 71 pages and is in the best condition of all four books. It's in very good + condition. It has religious leanings in that it was published by Focus on the Family Publishing in 1989, or so.Butterflies and Moths, A Study of the Largest and Most Beautiful of the Insects is a hard cover book in the Golden Library of Knowledge series. It is in very good condition. The book was written by Richard A. Martin and illustrated by Rudolf Freund, James Gordon Irving, and Eloise Wilkin. The book has 54 pages and appears to have been published in 1958, or so. You're Right!, For Boys and Girls Ages 10 to 15 is a Maxton Advanced Puzzle Book. It was published by Maxton Publishing Corporation in 1962. Being a puzzle person myself, I think it's the neatest of the four books . . . but it's also in the worst condition. Good, at best, the none of the puzzles have been done, and all could be reproduced on a copy machine. Flowers, A Guide to Familiar American Wildflowers is a book in the A Golden Nature Guide series. It was written by Herbert S. Zim and Alexander C. Martin and illustrated by Rudolf Freund with 134 paintings in full color. It's a paperback with 157 pages and also only in good condition at best. Thank you.

Añadir al carritoCondición: Good. Autographed handwritten note, 5" x 3.5" addressed to Herb Yellin of Lord John Press upon the death of his pet. Very Good. Undated. Herb Yellin (1935-2014) was the highly respected publisher and founder of Lord John Press, considered by many to be one of the most important small presses of the 20th century. His c…lose personal relationships with many significant writers resulted in an impressive number of unique, collectible, signed limited edition books. Working with some of modern literature's biggest names-Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, John Updike, Eudora Welty, and Joyce Carol Oates among them-and entertaining his personal fascination with Hollywood, Yellin was able to create a new realm for Lord John Press combining the two fields; several books, including The Lord John Film Festival, were the result.

The great women golfers : a collection, with many photographs, of the best writing by and about the finest women golfers of all time, including their historic matches and championships, their thoughts on technique and strategy, and their reflections on the game and their lives
