Minimal wear to the binding, which has a removable clear mylar covering. The title of the book is taped onto the spine of the mylar. The text is a little toned. There is some splitting or cracki…ng to the paper at the gutter towards the front of the book, but the binding is quite sound. Sikes was a Professor of History at Wake Forest College.
