Dark blue top edge; several small stains to fore-edge. Personal sextant-themed bookplate of St. Louis physician, naval historian, and author E. Lee Dorsett (Edward Lee Dorsett, 1883-1967) on front pastedown; interior pages are clean. Binding retains some crispness. A very good+ copy in a very good- dust jacket of the uncommon Norton first edition.
