(5786) Opera non comune del diplomatico svedese Jakob Gräberg di Hemso (1776-1847), dedicata a Leopoldo II Granduca di Toscana, una delle prime recanti precise notizie sulle risorse agricole, minerarie, commerciali dell'Impero del Marocco, ricca di dati geografici, statistici, etnografici. Essa era rivolta soprattutto ad illustrare ai sovrani europei le vaste risorse di quei territori, per incrementare gli scambi commerciali, e derivava da un soggiorno di 6 anni in Marocco dell'autore, come incaricato consolare della Svezia (1815-23) e del Regno Sardo. Ricordiamo che l'autore, geografo e diplomatico, fu tra i fondatori della scienza statistica; soggiornò nel Genovesato e poi in Toscana, collaborando all'Antologia. Dopo il suo incarico in Marocco fu trasferito a Tripoli, dove rimase fino al 1828, e divenne un profondo conoscitore del mondo arabo-mussulmano (studiò anche le opere e la figura di Ibn-Khaldoun).
