Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the pathology of megalomania, a condition characterized by grandiose delusions of one's own importance, often found in our present era. Beginning with a historical overview of the term, the author traces its progression from the realms of mental illness into the realm of everyday life. Megalomania manifests in a variety of guises, from the attention-seeking vanity of social media influencers to the dangerous delusions of power-hungry dictators. The author explores the psychological underpinnings of the condition, arguing that it arises from a combination of narcissism, insecurity, and a profound misunderstanding of cause and effect. However, the author does not merely diagnose the problem; they also provide insights into its cure, emphasizing the importance of intellectual honesty, self-awareness, and a proper understanding of one's place in the world. This book offers a unique perspective on a timely topic, providing both a cautionary tale and a guide to recognizing and overcoming the dangers of megalomania in ourselves and others. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…

Kommentar: *Erste Auflage. - (Philosoph, Parapsychologe, * 3.9.1827 Schloß Paczolaj (Slowakei), + 23.10.1887 Nizza. (katholisch).
