The book launch was held in conjunction with our BIG TALK symposium held at the School of Visual Arts Theater.American Photography 31, designed by Leo Jung, creative director of California Sunday Magazine, is produced in a one-piece, hardcover case with genuine cloth and debossed type. AP31 is 400 pages, printed 4-color in sections on 150 gsm gloss art paper and 2-color PMS 876 and black on 140 gsm uncoated art paper and uses Grouch and Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk typefaces. The selected photographs are presented in alphabetical order, one-image-per-page with a back-of-book index that lists the photographer with captions and complete creative credits along with a creative index that lists all creative personnel, publications, representatives, galleries, instructors and schools involved in the creation and utilization of the winning images." -- from colophon.
