There is no publication date on the title page and no reference to simultaneous publica…tion with Burns & Oates, as is the case with the two subsequent editions (printings) of 1911 and 1912, indicating that this is the first printing of 1910. Neat contemporary signature on the front free endpaper and some toning to the endpapers. The blue-grey paper covered boards are somewhat soiled as is the buckram spine othewise this is a firm copy with the advert leaf at the rear for the works of the Hon. Mrs Lindsay, Viola Meynell, Padraic Colum and Shane Lesle. Uncommon in this first printing.
