Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. The author's memories as a Consular and Commercial Diplomatic Officer; including a four years' posting in Brazil ending in 1914. Filled with anecdotes; as well as observations and insights from a British perspective - see image of Chapter headings. Mahogany brown cloth boards with gilt titles at the head and tail of the spine. The boards are in a sound state - the main condition-related element of this book is that it is ex-library so comes with the associated paraphernalia: stamps, library tickets, codes etc - courtesy of Brighton Public Libraries ('this ticket must not be removed from the book': it hasn't been). In addition, it is internally quite tanned in places with occasional spotting. Front pastedown/title page join shows a little of the binding material - which may also point to (along with the book's pagination) the possibility that a front endpaper is missing - see image for this aspect; as well as for the ex-library indicators. pp. 5-290/125 x 220 mm. Please note that, depending on destination, we may request a payment to cover any extra shipping/postage charges. Proceeds to Amnesty International. Abe2429. Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: New.
