The text is from the 2nd edition, revised and enlarged, of 1598-1600. Volume12 contains a contemporary essay on the voyages by Professor Walter Raleigh and the index for the set. Condition: Variable sunning to some of the spines, most significantly to Vol. 5. See photos. Some soiling to vellum. Internally, tanning to front and rear end pages. Light offsetting to the title page of several volumes. Clean inside. Individual notes: Vol.3: Top of spine sprung. Vol 6 has a tiny nick to the spine edge. Vol 7 has a knock to the top corner.
