Añadir al carritoHardcover. Condición: Near Fine. 1st Edition. This is a first edition (1942) of We Took to the Woods, by the American writer Louise Dickinson Rich (1903-1991). Part nature writing and part reflection on life, it is collection of essays about Rich's time spent living in the wilderness, in Maine's Rangeley Lakes region. No plumbing, no electricity, lake access, and the nearest neighbours were two miles away. It is cheerful, humorous and entertaining. Beige cloth boards, 322 pages with black and white photographs. The original owner wrote her name on the front endpaper but, judging by the faint dogear, only read it to page 32. It is otherwise in perfect condition.…
