Often featuring decidedly "Oregon" booster clubs and activities such as the "Wild Cavemen" of Josephine County who dressed in "cavemen" garb inspired by local Native American legends of pre-Columbian ancestors; the "Lava Bears" in Bend; "The Pirates" in Coos Bay, and others.
