Añadir al carritoLeatherette. Condición: Good Plus. Good Plus. First Edition. Illustrated. 221 pages. Introduction by Bobby Jones. Ralph Guldahl was a star player in the late 1930s. Western Open Champion three year running 1936-1938, Masters winner in 1939 (after being second in '37 & '38), and U. S. Open victories 1937 and 1938. After 16 PGA To…ur victories, in 1940, according to Paul Runyan, "his skills disappeared like a car hurtling off a cliff." It has been postulated by several people close to Ralph Guldhal that this book was the reason for Guldhal's disappearance from competitive golf, that writing it caused him to over-analyze every aspect of his swing, effectively paralyzing him. This production by the Cine-Sports Company is the most ambitious and detailed flicker book in the Library of Golf. Rather than just one image, there are photos taken from different angles all in the same flicker sequence. Bound in original maroon flexible leatherette with gilt lettering in very good condition save a vertical center crease on the front cover. No signs of ownership, no damage to internal pages. Unclipped dust jacket with light soiling and wear, protected in Brodart cover. Size: Oblong 48mo - over 3" - 4" Tall.
