Copy has 508 black and white illustrations. Previous owners name, "B.A. Preugh, is written in pencil on the inside front cover. Rubber stamp on inside front cover reads "Self Educational Books, on all kinds of Engineering and Mechanical work. Sold by The Book Exchange. 722 Pacific Ave., Tacoma, Wash." Minor scuffing on front cover. Tail slightly bumped. Pages are clean and complete. Binding is tight.

There is some fading along the spine and on the top and bottom of the spine. There is a stamp on the front end piece from Deb's Publishing. There is some toning on the front end papers and back end papers. There is a dog ear on page 240 but the fold out on that page is still attached along with the fold outs on page 412 and 256. This is the stated sixteenth edition.
