Slender chipping at spine head, lettering still bright, some scuffing at heel and along joints; some staining to boards with worn corners. Toning to edges; foxing to endpapers; past owner's signature in antiquarian ink on front free endpaper traced over in pencil with additional pencil notation; some foxing and toning to interior leaves with scattered pencil marks. Binding is firm. A good+ copy but still a nicer one than usually found as school readers and primers usually suffered much abuse at the hands of youthful students.
