The interior is nearly pristine: except for an inked name/date/city on the back of the FFEP, it is clean and unmarked; no page corners folded or damaged; pages are tight and clean with no writing, stains, or marks of any sort; no staining or discoloration; hinges are tight and undamaged; no distortion of the book from reading or improper shelving. Book does not has a BCE 'slug' on the rear board. Jacket is clean and without fading but with some darkening, particularly on the spine (see photo); no chips or tears; very little general wear; head of spine has several small creases with very small bit of paper loss at rear gutter ridge; jacket has no price and has "Book Club /Edition" on the bottom of the front flap. Condition of this book consistent with being gently read. No other discernible or objectionable faults on book such as marks or writing within, stains, tears, chips, or other damage that would diminish its appearance.
