The author worked his way up from waterboy in a sawmill at the turn of the century, to superintendent of logging and the river log drives, to paymaster for the Great Northern Paper Company and as an independent operator of logging crews, retiring in 1957. No sporting content. Scarce. Very good in very good wrapper.
