This postcard shows a view of Le Palais des Nations (Palace of Nations) in Geneva, Switzerland. This "palace" was first built from 1929-1936 to serve as the headquarters of the League of Nations, the predecessor of the United Nations (UN). Since 1946, the Palace of Nations has been the office of the UN. A pond with a few swans is shown in the foreground of the photo.
