Añadir al carritoSoft cover. Condición: Very Good. The Arts Theatre Club, London, 1949 & 1950. Softcover programs, with attendance dates of the former owner written on each copy. All are half-size, presumably due to lingering post-war rationing. Five of the plays were performed in 1949: 'A Pair of Spectacles' by Sidney Grundy, 'The Silver Curlew' by Eleanor Farjeon, 'The Schoolmistress' by Arthur Pinero, 'The Romantic Young Lady' by Gregorio Martinez Sierra, and 'Hindle Wakes' by Stanley Houghton. From 1950: 'The Provoked Wife' by John Vanbrugh & 'Heartbreak House' by George Bernard Shaw. Very good condition with an occasional hint of foxing on wraps. Three of the programs have newspaper clippings tucked inside with reviews of the play. Most have partially rusted staples. Despite the newspaper enclosures there is only slight offsetting or age toning.

Añadir al carritoPaperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book concerns the history and contemporary laws surrounding land in the Philippines, including the rights and restrictions thereof. The author traces Spanish public land laws in the country from the discovery of the islands to the late 19th century, focusing on how they affected the sale and adjustment of lands, particularly regarding disputes and claims. It also presents legal codes and regulations established by Spanish authorities to govern land ownership and alienation, including provisions for the acquisition of prescriptive title, sale of lands, grant of lands to towns, and the establishment of forest zones. The book provides insights into the evolution of land laws in the Philippines and their impact on land ownership, making it a valuable resource for researchers and those interested in the country's legal history. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
