Gründung der Rebenzuchtstation Laquenexy (Kenchen), Aufbau der Rebenveredlung, Einführung der systematischen Begehung aller Weinbergsanlagen durch Reblaussachverständige, bis 1906 Ausbildung von fast 700 Reblaussachverständigen. Züchter der Rebsorte Abondant Blanc (Wannerrebe, Steinschiller x Madeleine royale, 33/10 W-K), mit weitgehender Resistenz gegen Roten Brenner. (Quelle: Geschichte des Weines).
