Pages are lightly tanned at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Faint pencil marks to front free endpaper, Bookseller sticker to front pastedown. Boards have slight shelf with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed with light tanning. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Sunning marks scattered to both boards and spine. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning. The clipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends. Moderate sunning to jacket edges and spine. Loss to spine ends. Tape marks to insides.

Original cloth with dustjacket. Spine of the dustjacket and flyleaves discolored, chip on the top edge, else a (very) good copy. Please see description or ask for photos.

More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

Boards a bit splayed with a tiny stain at the spine base, offsetting on endleaves, about very good in a worn and soiled, fair dust jacket with internal tape repairs.
