Coates & Co., which succeeded Porter & Coates in 1895. Like the rest of Castlemon's War Series, this is set in the South during the American Civil War. In Very Good- Condition: ends of spine and corners lightly rubbed; upper part of spine along back joint scraped with loss of part of the title, and some gilt and other decoration; small label scraped off front fixed endpaper at upper edge; pages and illustrations are clean and tight.
