Contents mostly very good & clean, inside front owners name and July 19th 1924 and inscription, otherwise some edge wear/staining (see scans). The extras include the fourth Ipswich Convention for the 'Deepening of Spiritual Life'1925 held at "Bethesda" of 4 pages, then an 8 page Bethesda pulpit of February 1925 of the sermon by 'Be of good cheer, the Lord is a hand' , also copies of the Bethesda messenger for Aug 1924, same for Aug 1925, June 1926 & December 1927, all are 4 pages, also a cut out article dated 1953 fro the Evening Star newspaper about Bethesda. Most of extras are in good condition with the odd minor mark, the pulpit is a bit crunched with rusted staples, the 1924 Messenger has ink inscriptions against 4 of the six sermons, 3 good, 1 fair good. Pages framed with a red border. It is illustrated from photograph of Pastor and Church Officers, the old chapel, the new chapel inside and out and text about it history and about each of the illustrated officers including the late Mrs Susannah Page. To sum up, a very good reading copy, with some very rare extras relating to this church. Size: 22.5 x 14cm Approx.
