Spine features gilt and black design with titles on gilt relief field, back boards with stamped borders. 1cm colourless area about 1 inch from back top edge. Light yellow endpapers. Pages clean; tanning present throughout. Front hinge starting to loosen. Features twelve b&w photographs from the original Boydell Gallery illustrations. Please see photos.
