Soft cover. Condición: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Near fine condition. Wrappers retain their original pale cream tonality with only faint toning toward edges and a single light horizontal impression near spine. Minimal handling wear; lower corner very slightly bumped. Binding firm and square, interior pages clean, crisp, and unmarked. Reproductions remain sharp, with no foxing or offsetting. The laid-in price list is in fine condition—bright white paper with clear typewritten numeration and only a subtle corner crease. A particularly well-preserved copy, complete and tight, far above average for ephemeral art trade catalogues of this period. Collector Notes: The cover bears a mounted color plate of the Colman's Mustard advertisement—a finely printed reproduction neatly pasted onto the cream wrapper—depicting a Breton woman gathering mustard flowers against a vivid golden field, a classic image of late-nineteenth-century French advertising art that lends the catalogue an elegant, tactile presentation typical of limited gallery editions. Issued by one of Paris's most respected poster dealers, Galerie Documents, this catalogue marks an important phase in the professionalization of poster collecting in the 1980s. It documents the continued international market for lithographic masterpieces by Chéret, Cappiello, and Toulouse-Lautrec and includes bibliographic cross-references seldom found in commercial catalogues. The inclusion of the original price list enhances both historical and documentary value, offering direct insight into relative valuations in the late 20th-century vintage poster market.…
