In very good plus smart red cloth boards, with blind stamped decoration around the edges, gilt logo to front and gilt titles to spine. The boards are very flat and tight; the spine is a little darkened, otherwise the boards are unblemished. The free end papers are very lightly tanned. There is the name of a previous owner on the front free end paper. The text block has black and white plates and smaller illustrations by William Mulready.
