Shelf rubbing to dj, small chip at the top edge of the lower near center, tiny tear to head of the spine… and upper, paper rubbed at head and tail of the spine, corners lightly rubbed. Slight musty odor to interior. There is C 10 44 on the copyright page which makes me think it is a 1944 printing.

The author's solo journey on a Douglas motorcycle around the world encountering different cultures. He shot 4000 feet of film of his travels and afterwards went on a lecture tour showing his footage and speaking of his adventures. Fulton was also an inventor whose more than 70 patents included a car that could fly and a rescue system for spies behind enemy lines that was used by the C.I.A. and a James Bond movie.
