Der Original-Einband sollte ursprünglich erneuert werden, wurde dann aber doch aufwendig restauriert, so daß sein ehemaliger Charme zurückgewonnen werden konnte. Am unteren Buchrücken sowie am Vorderdeckel wurde dabei jeweils ein Teil des Lederbezuges ersetzt. Infolge der Restaurierung besitzt der Band nun ein angenehme Festigkeit.
