Paul and his wife came out to luncheon with us in November and he looked and seemed prefectly well. Life is uncertain is it not! . I went to both Grab Bag Dinners before coming down here . I am away so much of the year myself that I can seldom go to these reunions." The second is dated May 6 [no year] and is on the printed letterhead Wayside, North Easton, Massachusetts [in its entirety]: "There is only one thing I am interested in petitioning the government about at present and that is the sending of troops and supplies to Europe. I think we should all concentrate on that." Frothingham was a Congressman from Massachusetts from 1921 until his death in 1928.
