Añadir al carritoCondición: Very Good. A very scarce copy of this 16th Century German 'weather book'. 'The Farmers' Practice, ever-enduring: made by the ancients through experience' is a practical guide that taught readers how to predict future weather and harvests using everyday natural observations and astrological signs. It is attributed to Christoph Froschauer I by the University of Zurich, who started the first printing operation in the city and quickly became one of the most prominent printers of the Reformation. The 'title page' has some damage on the lower outer corner which seen a historic repair. Some scattered pen and pencil markings in an antique hand throughout, as well as browning and spotting. A rare and perhaps unlikely survival. Four leaves / eight pages in total (excluding endpapers).…
