Cloth. Condición: Good to Fine. No Jacket. The green cover had the title in gold with a design of a sun behind a tree branch; the title on the spine is also in gold. The corners and spine ends are a bit bumped with a minor amount of shelf wear; the top edge has what looks like small spots of foxing. The endpapers have a stamp "Property of School Dept. Town of Saint George" which was from the St George High School(which is no longer in existence), there is also the same written in ink and a former students name, the first free endpaper has some paper clip marks and a small hole on fore edge; the back free endpaper has been removed. The interior is clean except for three pencil lines on the "preface and foreword to teachers" otherwise clean; there are many black and white photos and drawings throughout the book. which includes the index.

Soft Cover. Condición: Good. Wraps have rubbed edges. Pages are clean, text is unmarked. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Hard Cover. Condición: Good. No Jacket. Boards are rubbed with edgewear. Heavy notation on end pages. Pencil markings in text. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex Libris.

Softcover. Condición: Very Good. Later printing. Illustrated by Matilda Breuer. 35pp. Stapled pictorial wrappers. Ex-library with stamp inside front cover and small spine label, covers with a few small creases and modest wear to the extremities, very good. The Basic Science Education Series.

Almost half the surface of the spine is missing. Small chip out of the top edge of the front cover which also has a patch of surface damage under the title. The rear cover is missing the top quarter and has two chips out of the bottom edge. There is a large piece missing from the top left corner of the first page. The final page has some edge chipping and discolouration. The pages are browned with some corner creasing but they are generally otherwise unmarked.
