The book is 6 7/8" by 8 3/8" and has 133 glossy pages with a Table of Contents and a List of the Illustrations. This is a book that eventually was made into a Shirley Temple movie, I believe. She won the Pulitzer Prize in 1917, along with her co-author sister, Maud Howe Elliott, for the biography of her mother, Julia Ward Howe best remembered for composing The Battle Hymn of the Republic.
