(12683) L'A.inserendosi nel dibattito sulla scelta della sede della Stazione per la Ferrovia di Novara sostiene l'oppurtunità di scegliere il luogo della Polveriera, atterrandone l'edificio (semidistrutto dalla funesta catastrofe provocata dall'esplosione del 26 aprile 1852), scelta che "ridonderebbe non solo a benefizio di quel Borgo sì sventurato, ma pure a piena soddisfazione della Città tutta", assai meglio delle altre due alternative proposte: quello di Valdocco, di proposta ministeriale, e quello di Porta Susa. L'A. propone inoltre di collegare questa stazione con quella di Porta Nuova costruendo "qual saggio divisamento la strada sotterranea , ossia quella che scanserebbe meglio l'incaglio di un profondo tagliamento, di una cavità scoperta né bella né conveniente per una Città Capitale".
