Some wear to extremities with a couple of corners just barely rubbed through, top and bottom of spine just beginning to fray, horizontal split in cloth at bottom of spine (with no loss), ever so slightly shaken, spine gilt slightly dulled, cover gilt bright, all illustrations in fine condition, previous owner's pencil signature (Nellie L. Mercereau) else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. JOAN OF RAINBOW SPRINGS was made into a movie of the same name in 1920 directed by Edward La Saint and starring Shirley Mason and Raymond McKee. According to the 1920 U.S. Census, Nellie L.
