An ex-library copy stamped "The Property of Sun Printers Ltd Library" to the front free endpaper and to the foot of a number of other pages without impact to either the text or illustrations. There are a number of illustrations relating to the Festival of Britain 1951; there is also an index to the Contributed Illustrations (see image). A peculiarity of this issue is the page inserted near the front of the book announcing the news of the death of King George VI as the last pages of the Penrose Annual were going to press(see image). There are a small number of insignificant stains to the spine which is slightly discoloured; the book is in very good condition, the binding tight and the grey covers otherwise unmarked.…
