Mint condition of a large format book that normally has bent corners, library stamps, colored in pics, soup dribbles and the odd pork scratching. This copy? Hell, this is the true collectable first printing of the first edition, dated 1988. It looks damn near as it must have when it left the press.

This is a first collection of these pieces, in chronological sequence. Not widely published, the work of Crane is more famous by repute than it is available or seen in book form. Clean and firmly bound, but it looks its age of course.

Is Antonio Canova reason enough to visit this glorious place? The answer must be yes, although there are so many splendours concentrated into this one building it is hard to single out the best. Clean and tight, no annotations, but a neat owner signature and blind stamp. Hence NF rather than F.
