I have never sent a book like this in the post so if you are interested I'm sure we can work something out. It is a FIRST EDITION HARDBACK, and it weighs a fair bit.… It is an astonishing publication. For the aviation fan it is very simply STUNNING. Whether you are ten years old or a hundred; if you enjoy looking at wonderful photographs of exciting aircraft this is ESSENTIAL. The pleasure is further enhanced by the expert text. The jacket is complete and undamaged but it betrays a few signs of having been opened, hence my jacket rating of Near Fine. There are some people who will look at this and frame the pages, others will simply drool. It is special, it really is. Needless to say there will be extra postage depending on destination.

First printing of a large format hardback in landscape format, beautifully produced by Nostalgia Press, with special care to reproduce the stunning line work of Alex Raymond. The cloth cover is beautiful…ly gilt stamped with Alex Raymond's signature and the title. The endpapers are gorgeous. Taking the age into consideration this has few flaws; a former owner's signature, which is neat and dated '1967' is on the half title, and which dates this rather neatly; there are some slight foxing spots; the cover is complete but it has some fairly insignificant losses, chips and creases, but it is essentially complete and now protected. A super collectable of a true classic. Large format, very heavy, this might need extra postage charges depending on destination. Language: eng.

A moving series of poems and a reminder of the noble sacrifices made by mostly very young men who gave their lives while fighting tyranny. And a good reminder to those ill educated people who criticise the RAF through ignorance.
