About VG (very weak front hinge) in like creased, worn and torn D/W. This is the true first edition originally published by Wells Gardner, Darton & Co. in 1941 which was voluntarily withdrawn from sale by the publishers when both they and the author pleaded guilty to obscenity charges relating to two other Glinto titles ("Lady - Don't Turn Over" and "Snow Vogue") at the Old Bailey in May 1942 resulting in a fine of £200. Rare in first edition. The first edition was originally published at 1/- net (although it was reprinted in the late 1940's at 2/- with different D/W artwork).
