From the estate of Dr. Jutta Börker-Klähn (1942-2019), private lecturer in Ancient Oriental Studies at the universities of Berlin, Würzburg and Hamburg. - a very good and clean copy. - From the text: Set forth in this lecture are some brief considerations that form part of a more extensive study on Hittite royal edicts presently being prepared. 1. The first document we wish to refer to is the so-called "testament of Hattusili I" (CTH 6)2; we shall not dwell here on the numerous historical and philological-linguistical problems arising from the text and widely debated among scholars. We would prefer instead to concentrate now on the episode of the rebellion against Hattusili by his son Huzziya and his daughter (§ 12-13 II 63-74); and, more specifically, on the precise location of this episode in the text. We would expect, in fact, to find tire description of these facts in the previous §§ 1-6, where the events preceding and motivating Mursili's appointment as heir to the throne are presented, in other words, where reference is made to the deplorable behaviour of the previously appointed heir, Labama, towards the king. Reprint. Condición: Gut. pp. 126-140. From the estate of Dr. Jutta Börker-Klähn (1942-2019), private lecturer in Ancient Oriental Studies at the universities of Berlin, Würzburg and Hamburg. - With dedication by the author to J. Börker-Klähn. - A good and clean copy. - From the text: During a study of some mythological texts where the deity Pirwa appears, two fragments of the thirteenth century B. C. containing Luvianisms or Luvian loanwords seemed to be of particular interest. For a number of reasons which it would take too long to go into here, the hypothesis was put forward that in both cases these were fragments of bilingual texts. Unfortunately, the fact that they are fragmentary has made comprehension of them difficult; nonetheless, for one of them, some proposals for interpretation have been offered, which will be discussed in the course of this essay. For the transliteration of the two texts, see E. Laroche and F. Starke; some different hypotheses for reading and interpretation will be treated in due course. - Wikipedia: Fiorella Imparati (Montevarchi, 1930 - Firenze, 2000) è stata una storica e accademica italiana, promotrice della scuola di Studi Anatolistici e di Storia del Vicino Oriente antico all'Università di Firenze. Reprint, stapled. Condición: Gut. pp. 199-214. From the estate of Dr. Jutta Börker-Klähn (1942-2019), private lecturer in Ancient Oriental Studies at the universities of Berlin, Würzburg and Hamburg. - With dedication by the author. - A good and clean copy. - From the text: Some of the information contained in the letters of Masat, the ancient city of Tapikka, concerning Hittite administration in the provinces of the kingdom, is included in letter Mst 75/57 (HKM 52), a document which has already been analyzed by S. Alp in an interesting article. I add here some further observations, which I wish to dedicate to the memory of the illustrious scholar E. Bilgiç. This document, whose provenance will be discussed shorthly, comprises a principal letter sent by Hattusili, probably the noted scribe of the Hittite Middle Kindom, to Himuili, BEL MADGALTI in Masat, and a supplementary letter (or postscriptum) written by another well-known scribe, Tarhunmiya, again to Himuili. - Wikipedia: Fiorella Imparati (Montevarchi, 1930 - Firenze, 2000) è stata una storica e accademica italiana, promotrice della scuola di Studi Anatolistici e di Storia del Vicino Oriente antico all'Università di Firenze.
