In East is East, Fingesten argues that Western culture has flourished when it has looked to its own roots in Judeo-Christian traditions and Classical philosophy and has sunk to its lowest depths of anti-intellectualism and superstition when it has turned to the East for inspiration. This copy is square and solid. It is completely clean and unmarked inside and out. All the corners are sharp and there is barely a hint of rub wear. There are two 3-hole punch-type holes in the last endpage. The dust jacket is not price-clipped ($3.00), is just slightly soiled, has a curving 2.5" ink line on the front cover, and has several tiny chips and tears along the edges, the deepest of which is about 3/4". It will be bubble-wrapped to protect the corners and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure safe delivery.
