Questa terza parte contiene il Trattato del valore delle monete in tutti gli stati di Geminiano Montanari (Modena 1633 - Padova 1687), la dissertazione sui sigilli del Medio Evo di Ludovico Antonio Muratori (in latino), scritti in latino e italiano sulle monete venete (Girolamo Zanetti), ravennati (Pinto), milanesi, e «variarum urbium» (Argelati), sul commercio (Belloni), documenti antichi, e accurati indici. Uno dei classici della numismatica italiana, che pose «le basi per in modo molto esauriente per una completa indagine» sulle molte zecche italiane. (Bassoli, p. 63).
