Spine has four raised bands and remains of a paper title label. Loss to head of spine, a few stains to rear board. Lacking front free…endpaper and front joint strained. Title page defective with diagonal strip torn off and absent. Good solid binding. Stain to inner lower corner of index pages, text is otherwise clean throughout. Second title page after p.224, dated 1688. Provenance: from the library of Williamstrip Park, Coln St, Aldwyns - seat of the Hicks Beach family. With inked name of Sophia Beach to title page and rear free endpaper. Scarce. ESTC: R19456. Wing p3160. Overall condition is Good. Size: 4 x 6.5 inches (10 x 16.5 cm). Hardback. Printed pages: 8vo.
