Soft Cover. Thin 16mo. pamphlet. Beige wrappers with fancy embossed floral design on front cover. Binding stitched with cord. No date, but Christmas gift inscription inside front cover dated 1893. Unpaginated. Illustrated with full color chromolithographs. Very good.

Pages are slightly darkened with age, otherwise clean and tight. String binding is holding firm. Cover is yellowed with age and has a few light stains on the front. Lower corners are worn.

There is no printed publishing date, but the book is circa sometime around the late 1800's or very early 1900's. It is in overall very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers only have some minor wear. The interior is lightly toned from age but generally nice and clean, though there may be the occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness, or some kind of other minor imperfection. The book is a small volume which measures approximately 4 3/4 inches by 3 1/4 inches with 10 unnumbered pages.

Original embossed cream coloured card covers with green and pink floral decoration, and blue and pink title in vine-like lettering. Binding is held together with faded red cord with tassels. Hand-soiled front cover is detached from spine 1/3 of the way up from the bottom. Cover and page edges have a decorative cut edge. The book consists of poetry by poets like Longfellow, Wordsworth, and Moore illustrated with floral lithographs. 15 pps. (unpaginated). Size: 7 3/4 x 10 Inches. Book.

The poem inside begins, "Bright angels guide you, little one.". Includes illustrations inside. Single die-cut vol. (8" by 2.5"), pp. [8], illus., secured in original chromolithographed covers with light blue silk cord. Very good. Small nick to top of upper cover. Minor toning.
