BBC Television's historical drama, "Rhodes", shot on location in South Africa, is an account of the massive part played by Cecil Rhodes in shaping the destiny of modern Africa. This book provides readers with a detailed look at the making of the series, and covers the historical background, the building of Kimberley, the creation of vast diamond mines, and filming at Nelson Mandela's presidental guest house. Other topics in the book are Princess Catherine Radziwill and her costumes and jewellery, Zulu costumes, the training of horses to create battle scenes, special effects, and a bush fire. The stars of the series are also featured. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
